Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, October 13-15, 1995
I wouldn't know what to do if I ever got nice weather on one of my camping trips. It was about 40 degrees and raining, with a wicked wind off the lake. We stayed at the White Pine backcountry camp, which is only a few miles in, but still manages to be reasonably secluded (especially in October). The campground is only about a quarter mile from the lake, a great place to watch the sunset.
