Porcupine Mountains State Park, June 5-7, 1998

Jen had never spent much time in the U.P. before, so I wanted to show her as much as I could in only a weekend. We spent a day and a half at the Porkies, then drove up to Copper Harbor for a day. We had really nice weather (unusual), and the scenery was beautiful (as always).

This was my second short trip to the Porkies, but once again I didn't really stay very long, just an overnight car-camping trip. This photo, and the next few, are views of the falls near the mouth of the Presque Isle River.
